Josiah Scott, Michigan State's starting cornerback, will miss about two months after suffering an unspecified injury early in training camp.

Michigan State starting cornerback Josiah Scott will be out approximately two months after suffering a noncontact injury in practice, coach Mark Dantonio said Scott started 12 games as a freshman last season, leading MSU with 10 pass breakups and 12 passes defended. Defensive end Dillon Alexander also is sidelined with a foot issue.
