VanVleet, Green, Ibaka lead Raptors to 122-83 rout of Bulls

Nick Nurse said he is "concerned" about Lowry's ankle but doesn't think it is too serious. "I just saw him and he said that he twisted it. But he was pretty lively in the locker room." Nurse said the plan had been to keep Lowry in until to end of the third quarter in hopes that he would find some shooting rhythm. Nurse said Lowry underwent some treatment and may get some additional testing, but has not gotten official word from training staff. "It's a little bit unfortunate," Nurse said. Lowry was not limping when he exited the arena.

Kyle Lowry (sore right ankle) will not return for the Raptors tonight, the team says. Toronto holds a comfortable 97-60 lead over the Bulls.

'Aggressive' Irving takes over as C's top Raptors

After scoring 23 of his 43 points in the fourth quarter and overtime Friday against the Raptors, Kyrie Irving stressed the need for the Celtics' struggling offense to be more aggressive and attack the rim.

Kyrie scores 43, Celtics beat Raptors 123-116 in OT

Kyrie Irving had a season-high 43 points, scoring 17 in the last 8:06 of the fourth quarter to force overtime and then making or recording an assist on every basket in the extra period Friday night to lead the Boston Celtics to a 123-116 victory over...

That was a really important win for the Celtics on several fronts. Jayson Tatum woke up, Gordon Hayward played a season high in minutes, Kyrie Irving was sensational and Boston avoided going down 2-0 in the season series.

Kawhi Leonard got the look he wanted, but couldn't knock it down at the buzzer. Free basketball here in Boston. Have to wonder if Raptors will try to go back to Kawhi on Kyrie. Went away from it after a couple possessions.

Wright hits big-time 3 late (0:28)

Danny Green fouls out on a 50-50 call. With no OG Anunoby either after he sprained his wrist earlier, Toronto is down a couple wings here in the final minutes.

Four minutes to go here in Boston, and Kawhi Leonard is now guarding Kyrie Irving. Playoff atmosphere in the building, both on and off the court.

After a very rough start to this game, Jayson Tatum has finally come around in the second half. Has 12 points, and has helped swing the momentum in the fourth in a game Toronto appeared to be putting a stranglehold on previously.

After these free throws, the Raptors will have doubled up the Celtics in free throw attempts (25/12). Boston's Achilles heel this season could come back to haunt them again.

Really interesting lineup from the Raptors: three point guards (Lowry, VanVleet and Wright) with Leonard and Ibaka. There might not be another team in the league with more lineup possibilities than Toronto.

Marcus Morris has never shot better than 44.2 percent overall in a season, or 38 percent from 3. This year? He's over 50 percent overall and 48 from 3 — and that's before a perfect 4-4 start tonight. Imagine where Boston's offense would be without him this year?

The Raptors are over-passing offensively. Keep putting themselves into worse situations than they need to by passing out of better looks.
